The BDAFL is expecting a plethora of clearances to hit the system over the next few weeks.
Rumours abound of new players coming into the league while the numbers of those exiting the competition appear negligible.
Most clubs have new players training with them however the AFL clearance system, which is in it's second year in the BDAFL, now provides for clubs to submit and process player clearances online as opposed to the old days of the league undertaking this responsibility.
The lead time with clearances has been considerably reduced which makes you wonder why clearances are still part of the AFL football system, certainly in the BDAFL's case.
Until the league general manager updates the league clearance list the club clearances can only be viewed if the club has opened the Sporting Pulse Competition Management System on their respective website. Not all clubs have adopted this option.
New and experienced players should enhance the league's standing in representative football this season.
